My Health Journey –
Vidhya Udare, offers natural solutions using an evidence-based approach. She discovered the power of Homeopathy, Functional Medicine/Nutrition and Yoga while diagnosed with Unspecified Hypothyroidism in her early 40’s which changed her whole life. While being diagnosed with Hypothyroidism she was experiencing symptoms of anxiety, palpitation, gut, and sleep issues. She was informed by the Endocrinologist that those symptoms are not related to Thyroid and suggested to see a psychiatrist. Having specialized in Homeopathy and Functional Medicine the interconnection of mind and body was very clear to Vidhya Udare. Unwilling to continue conventional medicine for life for Thyroid she decided to take the root cause analysis approach and restored her thyroid health and function. In her late 40’s she suffered from Lyme Arthritis/knee which was very debil. Having overcome Hypothyroidism, she felt confident to take the Integrative root cause analysis approach to help herself and overcome Lyme successfully.
She shares a passion to help every individual considering the body as a whole (mind-body-soul) and understanding the inter-relatedness of the symptom complex picture manifested. Vidhya Udare works virtually with individuals of all ages and with an extremely wide range of health conditions both acute and chronic.

Using a personalized and individualized approach, she empowers her clients with skills, knowledge, support, and resources needed to develop sustainable new and healthy nutrition habits, leading to lifestyle changes.
Marsha believes that most diseases begin in the gut; one approach, when appropriate, is to develop a personalized plan to address and restore the gut microbiome by using the 5R framework for gut health.
While most of us know that the food we eat affects our physical bodies, the idea that our nutrition and diet also impact mental health is finally coming to light.
In her own words: “Poor nutrition affects hormonal balances, responsible for low energy levels, and can weaken the immune system – all of which can also be causes of mental health issues”.
Balancing hormone levels, healing the gut, and having nutritious food alone can significantly impact anyone with mental health difficulties. Working with a licensed nutrition professional and having a corresponding care plan from a mental health therapist for your emotional needs is essential to improving your nutrition status and mood if you are suffering from a mental health and mood disorder like anxiety, depression, and ADHD.”
“My personal experience with gut health issues, depression, chronic pain, and migraines gives me a unique perspective on your challenges. I have successfully managed my chronic conditions and those of my family members with diet and lifestyle changes. I also know first-hand the struggles and challenges of implementing new eating habits and lifestyle changes and how important it is to have a supportive group of people to cheer you on. I am compassionate, patient, and empathetic; I hear and see you! ”
